Rainbow Ambulette is a medical transportation company with professional drivers dedicated to the increasing need of the sick and elderly in our community. Rainbow Ambulette was established in October 1993 in response to a demand for a superior source of transportation. We provide prompt courteous and friendly transportation for the disabled, injured, and handicapped patients in New York. Our patients are transported from their homes, as Well as nursing facilities, to physicians, clinics, and hospitals in New York City's five boroughs. Our trips are dispatched from our main office at 327 Sound-view Avenue, Bronx NY, 10473. Serving our local community has been our goal for over 20 years. The Department of Transportation has commissioned Rainbow Ambulette to offer our services in all five boroughs.
Staff and vehicles
Our vehicles are constantly inspected and maintained to the highest level of safety possible. All our vans are equipped with hydraulic ramps that supply a safe and smooth experience for our patients as we transport them to and from their destinations .Both our Vans and our drivers are licensed with the Depart-ment Of Transportation and with the Taxi and Limousine Commission.
Rainbow Ambulette is fully insured to protect our interests as Well as the interests of the patients we transport in our vehicles. For those facilities that require that they be added on to our insurance, that can be accommodated as Well.
